The Foundation shall focus on delivering skills development programmes in the following areas:
Workshops and courses
in life skills, financial literacy, leadership,
entrepreneurial skills and vocational skills.
Comprehensive training in fields such as entrepreneurship, information technology, agriculture, construction, hospitality, municipal admin and other high-demand sectors.
This is a work- based learning program that combines structured learning with practical
work experience to lead to a nationally recognized qualification, typically on
the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). It’s designed to help individuals gain skills and knowledge relevant to a specific occupation while working for an employer.
Provides graduates and young professionals with structured, on-the-job training to gain practical experience in their field of study. These programmes bridge the gap between academic learning and the demands of the workplace, often serving as a stepping stone to full-time employment. Internships can be paid or unpaid, and are typically a temporary position with an emphasis on learning and skills development.
This is a structured work-based learning program designed to train individuals
in a specific trade or craft, leading
to a recognized artisan qualification. These programmes combine practical, on-the-job training with theoretical knowledge, typically lasting between 1 to 4 years. Apprentices learn directly from experienced professionals while earning a stipend, ultimately gaining a nationally recognized certificate of competence.
This is a system designed to administer and oversee the distribution and utilization of bursaries, which are financial awards given to students to help them with their educational expenses. These programmes handle various aspects of the bursary lifecycle, from student selection and funding to monitoring academic progress and ensuring compliance with program requirements.
This is a structured approach to education that combines theoretical learning with practical experience in a workplace setting. It aims to bridge the gap between academic studies and the demands of the professional world
by providing students with real-world experience. This integration helps students develop professional identities, enhance their skills, and improve their employability.
